The American Society for Aesthetics has awarded a grant in partial support of the Post-Performance Panel Discussion on the Physics, Aesthetics, and Metaphysics of Time. The evening has been organized by the Logos Dance Collective. 

The evening begins with a pre-performance reception with an introduction to Nietzche and Woolf. A one-hour performance by the Logos Dance Collective and a panel discussion on physics, aesthetics, and the metaphysics of time. In addition, the ASA grant is supporting preparation of a program with philosophica essays on the topics, which will be available on the ASA web site. The grant is also subsidizing a video of the event which also will be posted on the ASA web site.

The project has been organized by:

  • Barbara Gail Montero, Professor of Philosophy, CUNY and Founder and member of the Logos Dance Collective
  • Jonathan Gilmore, Professor of Philosophy, CUNY
  • Maxine Flasher-Duzgunes, a BFA student in Dance at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and member of the Logos Dance Collective
  • Cliff Mak, Assistant Professor of English, Queens College, CUNY
