Meet in the lobby of the NMWA at 1:00 pm. Everyone is invited to tour the museum with Peg Brand Weiser (pweiser@uoregon.edu), and, time permitting, other museums and memorials on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. Please arrive on Tues., Nov. 14, or early Wed., Nov. 15, in order to travel by Metro subway from the hotel to the Mall. (blue line to Metro Center or yellow line to Gallery Place) Program Chairs: Sheila Lintott (Bucknell University) and Gemma Arguello Manresa (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México). Both have previously served on the program committee for earlier annual meetings and been active in programs in the ASA Divisions. Arguello is co-chair of the ASA Feminist Caucus Committee and Social Media Editor. Lintott organized the ASA-co-sponsored conference on "The Ethics and Aesthetics of Stand-Up Comedy."

Lodging at the Conference Hotel
- The deadline has passed for booking a room at our conference rate. However, you can still book a room at the public rates at the Hilton Arlington National Landing
- Our hotel is much closer to the Washington Mall and the center of town than the Wardman hotel in far northwest DC used by the APA. A short trip on the Metro will take you into town in minutes.

Nursing room A Nursing room will be available at the hotel in the Patrick Henry Room on the First Floor. To get the key, please come to the ASA registration desk on the Plaza Level or contact secretary-treasurer@aesthetics-online.org All sleeping rooms at the hotel have mini-refrigerators for storage.
Tips for Saving Money
- Register "early-bird" for the meeting at least 30 days in advance.
- Look for a roommate to share a double with two beds at the hotel. When the program is posted, see if you have friends attending. You are welcome to post on the ASA Facebook page if you are looking for roommates.
- Use the Metro rail system to get to the meeting from Dulles International Airport.
- Use the free hotel shuttle to get to the meeting from Washington National Airport.
- Hotel rooms all include a small refrigerator, coffee maker, and free wifi.
- Check out economical restaurants in the neighborhood
Travel Options in the Metropolitan area
- The Hotel runs a free shuttle bus from National Airport every 15 minutes
- The Hotel also runs another free shuttle every 15 minutes to the Crystal City Metro stop
- From Dulles International Airport, Metro now runs all the way to the Airport ($9.30) (about 1 hr. 15 min.) (silver line eastbound to Rosslyn; free transfer to blue line southbound to National Airport; free hotel shuttle from National Airport)
- Uber from Dulles: $60-$130 (depending on time of day and type of vehicle)
- Taxi from Dulles: $85 + tip (depending on traffic)
- From Washington, DC Union Train Station, take the red line west two stops to Gallery Place; free transfer to yellow line southbound to National Airport. ($2.00) Free hotel shuttle runs every 15 minutes.
- From Metro, go three stops to the south to Old Town Alexandria
- From Metro, it's a few short stops into the center of the District of Columbia
