The aim of this conference is to investigate how works of art, and certain kinds of aesthetic practices or aesthetic experiences, can be of existential importance to people. The conference will be free for all attending. Discounted lodging and meals will be available on the campus. Those whose submissions are selected will be provided with free lodging and meals. Two outstanding graduate student submissions will also receive a $650 travel stipend. As more information becomes available, it will be publicized on the ASA web page and other venues.
