ASA Endorses National ACLS Statement on COVID-19 and the Role of the Humanities

The Board of Trustees of the American Society for Aesthetics has unanimously endorsed a national statement, sponsored by the American Council of Learned Societies, on "COVID-19 and the Key Role of the Humanities and Social Sciences in the United States."

The ASA joins over 100 professional academic societies and distinguished leaders of national organizations in endorsing the statement.

The statement calls on "all higher education leaders to uphold  the central importance of the humanities and social sciences as you make important decisions that will shape the institutions under your stewardship for years and generations to come."
