Sandra Shapshay Named Keynote Speaker for ASA Eastern Meeting

 Dr. Shapshay, Professor of Philosophy at Hunter College and the Graduate Center of CUNY, has been named as the Keynote speaker for the ASA Eastern Meeting in Philadelphia April 22-23, 2022.

She is the ASA representative to the International Aesthetics Association and is co-chair of the Program Committee for the 2022 Annual Meeting in Portland, Oregon. She has also received ASA funding for aesthetics workshops at Indiana University and co-edited a special issue of JAAC on “The Good, the Beautiful, the Green: Environmental Aesthetics and Ethics.”
