Revised Guidelines Approved for Somaesthetics Research Prize

The ASA Board of Trustees has approved minor revisions to the guidelines for the 2023 Somaesthetics Research Prize. The complete guidelines are here: https://aesthetics-online.org/page/somaestheticsprize

For the 2023 prize, the submission deadline is March 1, 2023. The ASA Selection Committee welcomes published work of distinction published between May 1, 2021 - February 28, 2023. Under the revisions, eligible works are articles or chapters/sections of books or complete monographs, published in English. Nominations will be judged based on adherence to scholarly standards of writing and demonstrated knowledge of the somaesthetics scholarship. Self-nominations are welcome. Only one nomination per competition should be submitted. Nominees must be ASA members as of the submission deadline.

The prize of $1000 plus travel to the 2023 Annual Meeting has been funded by a generous donation from a private foundation.
