ASA Announces New Newsletter Co-editors

The American Society for Aesthetics is pleased to announce the appointment of new Co-Editors for the ASA Newsletter. Julia Minarik will begin a three-year term on February 1, 2023. Mary Beth Willard will begin a three-year term on February 1, 2024. 

They replace Shelby Moser, who completes her service January 31, 2023, and Michel-Antoine Xhignesse, who completes his service January 31, 2024. Both were term-limited, after serving two three-year terms.

Minarik is a doctoral student at the University of Toronto and was previously Managing Editor of ASAGE (ASA Graduate E-Journal). She received  her BA and MA in philosophy from the University of Manitoba. Willard is a Professor of Philosophy at Weber State University, where she has taught since 2011. She received her PhD in philosophy from Yale University and her BA in philosophy from Notre Dame University.

The ASA Newsletter is published three times a year, with submission deadlines of April 15, August 1, and December 1. It is free to the public on the ASA web site. ASA members can view the complete archive of the Newsletter since it commenced publication in 1980 under the red Members button==>Newsletter Archives.
