Carolyn Korsmeyer Named 2018 Richard Wollheim Lecturer

The American Society for Aesthetics Board of Trustees has named Carolyn Korsmeyer as the 2018 Richard Wollheim Lecturer. She will give the lecture at the 2018 Annual Meeting of the British Society of Aesthetics at Oxford University, September 21-23, 2018.

She is Research Professor of Philosophy at the University at Buffalo (SUNY). She previously served as President of the ASA and several terms as a member of the Board of Trustees. Her PhD in philosophy is from Brown University. For more information about her, click here.

 The Richard Wollheim Lecture, initiated in 2009, is jointly sponsored with the British Society of Aesthetics. The ASA nominates a lecturer to speak at the BSA annual meeting in even-numbered years and the BSA nominates a lecturer to speak at the ASA annual meeting in odd-numbered years.
