ASA Diversity Co-chairs Step Down

Co-Chairs of the ASA Diversity Committee, Paloma Atencia Linares and Nils-Hennes Stear, have announced that they both intend to step down as co-chairs of the Committee this year, effective from the next meeting. This meeting will be held online after the ASA annual meeting, almost certainly in early December (exact date TBD). Saul Fisher will stay on as vice-chair.

They invite expressions of interest to take over the position of Chair(s) of the Diversity Committee. Interested persons and those who would like to nominate someone, are asked to send them email before July 15. If there are multiple nominations, the nominations will be put to a vote among the Diversity Committee membership shortly after they receive and confirm the interest of nominees. They ask that people contact them at patencia@fsof.uned.es and nstear@umich.edu
